Terms of Service
Read the terms for using Unfour Community, subscribing to Unfour Pro, and using account-backed services.

Products and scope
Unfour Community is the free, local-first edition of Unfour. Unfour Pro is the paid edition with account-backed services and currently primarily adds account-backed Cloud Sync. These Terms apply to the website, Unfour accounts, Pro subscriptions, and hosted services. Community source code remains subject to its Apache-2.0 license.
Subscription and pricing
Unfour Pro is a monthly subscription. The current Early Access price is $2.99 / month; the regular-price reference is $3.99 / month. Early Access users keep their current price while their subscription remains continuously active. Hosted checkout shows the recurring amount before purchase.
Personal license
Pro is licensed for personal use by 1 user on up to 5 devices. You may not share account access, resell the subscription, or make Pro services available to another person unless Unfour agrees otherwise in writing.
Automatic renewal
The Pro subscription renews automatically each month at the price shown for your subscription unless you cancel before the next renewal. Your payment method may be charged for each renewal through the payment provider.
Cancellation
You can cancel from Manage billing in your Unfour account, which opens the hosted Customer Portal. If you cannot access billing management, contact [email protected]. After cancellation, Pro remains available through the end of the current paid billing period and will not renew for the next period.
Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed case by case, subject to applicable law and the payment provider’s policies. Email [email protected] with the account and transaction details needed to locate the payment. Cancellation alone does not create a refund; any approved refund is processed through the payment provider.
Payment processing
Payments for Unfour Pro are processed by Creem through hosted checkout. Creem handles billing information and payment credentials; the static Unfour website does not receive card numbers or other payment credentials. Account, entitlement, checkout, and Customer Portal requests are handled through the Unfour API.
Acceptable use
Do not use Unfour to break the law, access systems or data without permission, harm or disrupt the software or services, evade license or access controls, distribute malware, or abuse another person’s account. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.
Service changes and availability
Unfour software, Cloud Sync, and other features may be updated, adjusted, suspended, or discontinued. We aim to communicate material changes when reasonably practical, but do not promise that every feature will always remain available or unchanged.
As-is service
To the extent permitted by law, the software and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unfour is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the software or services. Unfour’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Pro during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product, services, or legal requirements change. The page will show the effective date, and we will provide reasonable notice of material changes when practical. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the services and cancel any active subscription before its next renewal.
